Dr. Ronald Leyder D.D.S

Dr. Ron Leyder Sr. was born and raised in the Big Rapids area. He achieved his dental education from the University of Michigan. Due to rare excellence in his academic achievement Dr. Leyder had the honor of being one of the few dentists that was accepted to dental school one year early, before he achieved his undergraduate degree.  After graduation in May of 1981, Dr. Leyder built his practice in Croton and started seeing patients that September. Dr. Leyder and his wife Barbara live in the Hardy Dam area where they have raised their three sons and one daughter.  Dr. Leyder and his wife enjoy vacationing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and he also enjoys do-it-yourself projects and being self-sufficient.

 

Alicia, Registered Dental Hygienist

“I have been working for Dr. Leyder since April 2010 and enjoy being a part of our dental team.  I love caring for each individual patient and strive to provide comprehensive care and patient education. In my spare time I love spending time with my husband, Brent and twin girls, Brielle and Brynlee. We enjoy time together outdoors and exployer Michigan, especially in the summer. Camping, bike riding and gardening are some of our favorites”

Alicia received her Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences from Ferris State University.  She also received her Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia Certification and is a certified Registered Dental Hygienist for the State of Michigan.

 
 

Sandy, Registered Dental Hygienist

 “I enjoy working in the dental field and have been working with Dr. Leyder since February 1998.  I feel it is a privilege to care for the patients that put their trust in my abilities as a dental hygienist.”

Sandy received her Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences majoring in Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College and is a Registered Dental Hygienist for the State of Michigan.

 

 

Katie, Registered Dental Hygienist

" I am currently the newest member of Dr. Leyder's dental team, I started in August 2016. Without them I couldn't provide the highest level of care for you!"

Katie received an Associates Degree in Arts and Science majoring in Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College. She also received her Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia Certification and is a certified Registered Dental Hygienist for the State of Michigan.

 

 

Barb, Dental Assistant/Lab Technician

“I enjoy providing a comfortable environment for our patients and working with my husband and all of the wonderful team members. In my spare time I enjoy painting, specifically oil, traveling and working on my family tree.”

Dr. Leyder’s wife, Barb received her Associates Degree in Arts and Sciences, specializing in Dental Technology from Ferris State University. She has been working at the office for several years both as a dental assistant and Lab Technician.

Chaynne recieved on the job training in 2008 and is Certified in Dental Radiology.

Lynn, Office Manager

“ I have been part of Dr. Leyder’s practice since May of 2010. I enjoy working with such a wonderful dental team.  I take the extra step to help patients feel more comfortable in the dental office with a friendly greeting and warm smile. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and our Golden Doodle. ”

Lynn has been in the dental field for since 2010.  She received on the job training in 2000 to be a dental assistant and after two years began working as a dental receptionist.

 
 

Ronda, Administrative Assistant

“Dr. Leyder hired me as and administrative office assistant in March 2012. I work in the front office and have had the pleasure of meeting many interesting people. I consider myself extremely blessed to be part of a professional dental team who truly care about not only dental needs, but the oral health of each and every patient.”
