Dr. Ronald Leyder D.D.S

Dr. Ron Leyder Sr. was born and raised in the Big Rapids area. He achieved his dental education from the University of Michigan. Due to rare excellence in his academic achievement Dr. Leyder had the honor of being one of the few dentists that was accepted to dental school one year early, before he achieved his undergraduate degree.  After graduation in May of 1981, Dr. Leyder built his practice in Croton and started seeing patients that September. Dr. Leyder and his wife Barbara live in the Hardy Dam area where they have raised their three sons and one daughter.  Dr. Leyder and his wife enjoy vacationing in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and he also enjoys do-it-yourself projects and being self-sufficient.

Katie received an Associates Degree in Arts and Science majoring in Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College. She also received her Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia Certification and is a certified Registered Dental Hygienist for the State of Michigan.

“Dr. Leyder  hired me in March of 2012 as the Administrative Office Assistant.  In 2020 I became the Administrative Office Manager.  I have

enjoyed learning about the dental field, getting to know new people and being part of helping them keep a beautiful smile.  Outside of the office I enjoy spending time with myr husband, family, and friends.  Myr family currently includes 3 married children, and 15 adorable grandchildren. Goiong to church, kayaking, swimming, and trips to the UP are a few of myr favorite things to do."
